OEM Radio for a 2001 GT with an AUX-IN?

I hate the way aftermarket decks don't blend in very well with the interior so I was wondering if Delco made a version of the GP radio with AUX-IN socket for an iPod or MP3 player?

The only thing I have seen that you could get, is a universal type kit or you can do the tape deck mod to the factory CD player.

The tape deck can be used with an aftermarket ipod/aux kit.

Mine is a CD player, did the 97s have tape players?

I know they were availble throughout the years. You could also get a radio with a cassete player from a 98+ trans am.

I always see factory radios on ebay all the time where the seller as modded them and put in AUX line in jack on the front panels. I got curious one day and searched to find how he does it but google came up empty on that one. It would be nice to buy one then find out :)

They're not that expensive, i don't personally remember, but you can install them yourself.

Ask for how they're made, I believe the guy wires a 3.5mm to the cd player and you have to run a special blank track cd for it to work
