anyone smart on abs???

99 gtp abs light, trac light on and cruise wont work.

The code is showing b0550 "electronic control moduel malfunction". so I bought a used one and installed it, and nothing changed cleared the code and it comes back up with the same code. Checked my powers and grounds in the plug going to the moduel and everything is doing what it should.

Could of I got a bad moduel? or is it something else? do the pumps go bad on these?

Is there any gm techs or guys that know more about my problem that are willing to give me any advice?

Well I dont want to just go out and buy another moduel. I have to be able to pin point my problem. Could it be the pump end is out that the moduel bolts too. Someone's got to know this stuff or delt with it.

it could be muitable things but theres no way to just change whats wrong, you have to get a whole part to fix it and if its throwing a code for the module you just have to replace that part...you could test it if you had a scanner

if you bought it from a junk yard, it should have at least a 30 day warranty. and im sure they would replace it for you. they dont want the rep of selling bad used parts.

well the guy i got the moduel from said he had no abs lights on at all. i have scanned the car and it comes back with that b0550 code. i just have a hard time believing i got to bad moduels in a row.
