I need something more, and keep me busy over this up coming winter. i need a part list. so far...

-single or double roller with machined cover? im guessing double
-7/8'' chain for trans
-yella terra 1.6 rollers (which im getting soon anyway for my current xp)
-ported heads
-all gaskets/tty bolts etc



what kind of times/mph are you xpz guys running intercooled?

i noticed you can buy the xpz with the custom length push rods, i was probably just gonna order that

and im definitely doing the machined crank gear
 
Things fool...I say hur:

Dave's transmission didn't come with a 7/8" chain already? Mine had it in there.
Double for sure...and chamfered gear is what your going for.
150lb. springs like a boss...with Manley Titanium retainers. Rev the **** out of it because its pointless but listening to the M90 at high ass useless RPM's is fun.

Also, maybe call this one the ERK cam?
 


Seriously your already cammed add to if before you stick a different one in also I cant understand why people dont mess with gear ratios more.

1.6 rockers would decrease lift on a xpz to that of a xp, lol.

i like the idea of the xpz, i currently have the xp, its fun but, i want an m90 car that traps 120

i like that ERK cam lol. When i ordered my trans i ordered it with a ls4 style chain set, he said any more at the point im at will require 7/8 chain set.

i have 3.29's, i don't like the idea of 3.69's.

so why would an xpz be a better choice versus other cams on the market (or a custom cam, hint hint) to trap 120?
 
If all your mainly after is bigger trap speed go 3.69's no questions about that. I see absolutly no reason to go from an XP to XPZ. Hell I could sell you an IS3 cam cheap if you want something bigger than the XP cam. :D
