Needs to be sanded down and painted white anyways... just do eeeeiiiiitttttt

some sanding, re-fiberglassing, custom painting for straight badassery, and you will be golden
 
Doesn't really look that badly messed up. I think if it were sanded and painted, any other imperfections would probably be unnoticeable. Only real issue looks like the lip of the hood in the last pic.
 


I'd rather get some of the prep work done myself If I can because then thats less work for them and they can spend more time getting it absoultly perfect and what do you guys think of this but with white and black

well if theres multiply paint jobs on it, you could try a razor blade and CAREFULLY scrape some off, if not get a dual action sander and and some 180 and have at her
 


so I started sanding and there is 9! coats on this thing It took me 5 mins to get down to the surface with 120 and that was on in like a 1 in area I'm going to pick up some 60 or 80 grit tonight

Not really surprising considering in the second picture *close-up of the inlet* you can see a messup in the paint, looks to be too much painting and not enough prep work or a really bad run around the upper lip at the top of the inlet.

I see cars painted multiple times and colors all the time. My ex had an older brother that would repaint his blazer with spray cans every-time he got into trouble (cops, theft, fights, etc...). He was a good guy, but stubborn and always got into trouble. That blazer was repainted at least 12 times that I know of in the 2 years his sister and I dated, I swear no exaggeration. I called it the Gobstopper.

It looks ok if you carried the stripes the whole length of the car. (but I'm not big on split up markings). Even then, I'm not sure if I still dig it. Maybe if it was solid and not dashed like those pictures.
