So last saturday i was at a small house party just hangin out in the backyard.. somehow some kids got ahold of a CO2 powered bb gun and started messing around with it.. i didnt think they would point and shoot at anyone but apparently someone was stupid enough to do so. i turned around and next thing i know i feel something puncture my eye. i was shot from about 30 ft away by some ****ing idiot. someone drove me to the nearest fire station and then i was taken to the ER. i had reconstruction surgery on my eye, but i still have no vision at all in it. It's still a question whether my vision will come back or not im just praying for the best. i go in for more surgery next week, hopefully they ca keep the eye alive.

it pisses me off how i did not do a god damn thing and now i have to deal with all this ****. there is an investigation on who shot me, we are pretty sure we know who did it, and they will be getting charged with aggravated assault, a class 6 felony.. and they are 18, so they are pretty ****ed to say the least

Damn dude you're in my prayers as well... I know all too well what its like to lose your sight.... I got shot in the eye in 10th grade and I had what is known as a red out (basically my entire eye turned red from the broken blood vessels) I could see but barely.... Then I got taken home from school(couldn't drive because of the injury) so my Dad brought me home... then to the ER because I was having issues... The eye Dr said there wasn't much that could be done at the time so all I could do is rest... Well later that night I woke up in extreme pain.... The red out had reoccurred so I was taken to the ER again by my Mom at like 1:30 in the morning... The entire time I kept my eyes closed because of the pain so I didn't know I couldn't see....

I remember waking up briefly in the ER room and all I could see was shadows and light but nothing else... The next morning I was sent to Milwaukee to see the eye specialist along with my regular eye DR (he's the best around here) by then my vision had come back but was still blurry........ There was questions whether I'd have full vision again or not.. The next two weeks I had to wear eye patches over both of my eyes...get my eye sight tested, etc...... I basically had to relearn everything as a blind person would do..... I got lucky though because I had eventually regained full vision in my right eye(it was shot out by a rolled up wad of paper that was shot with a rubber band ...school kids called them paper mosquitoes) Today my eye still gets really blood shot if there is any extreme stress or being tired.... I also can notice that the tinting is off a little between both eyes... Left eye sees normal ,right eye sees normal but with a slight red-ish tint to it (only noticeable when I close one eye or the other...)
 


Dude thats bull1t. I'd be super pissed to. When I was 16 I had a small metal fragment from a disk grinder someone else 20 ft away was using hit me in the eye. ER used a very small drill bit bout the size of a needle to drill down to it and ghet it out. Lots of goop (medicine) put in my eye daily with a patch for a week. BUT got my vision back. Scary stuff. Yeah, that guy is screwed. GOOD. What a Dumb@ss..
 
Sorry to hear that my friend. I shall keep you in my prayers as well. I've had a BB ricochet and hit me in the eye, but not as bad as you. But, hope you have a fully recovery bro.
 
i hear ya but we was using .30 cal rifles or a 7.62x54R sniper rifles from russia. one kid took a round in the stomach an i caught the other piece in the right side of my head.
 


If I was someone at that party with you I would've beaten the **** out of the kids who decided to play with that, or point it and shoot.

Press full charges make the moron pay, ****ing retard.
 
Sorry to hear about your eye, my brother in law ended up with a nail in his eye while doing a house renovation and had the surgeries.

While he waits for it to heal and get a few stitches taken out every 2 or 3 weeks, he can basically do nothing. He can't drive, he can't go to work because he is an auto mechanic and any kind of pressure put on the eye would mean he risks popping the stitches.

He has been off of work for about 3 months now and probably can't go back for another 2 months or so.

The fact that he can't doing anything that would put pressure on the eye, means that he can't have sex either..

This is why I was raised with guns and was taught a valuable lesson to not shoot at anything you do not wish to kill. No shots to wound, shoot to kill and point it with that reason only.

Too many kids these days are not taught that lesson and think even little bb guns and those blasted air soft BS guns are just for playing and nobody will get hurt. A well built C02 BB gun shot at close range can do major damage to someone and these kids think they're just toys.

Your in my prayers, I hope you have a great recovery, and I agree... get a lawyer if you haven't done so already, none of this is your fault or burden to have to bear

Same way with me man. I ask people if they know how to shoot a gun, and if they reply yes, I ask them how. If they said just aim and pull the trigger... I don't let them shoot. Safety is the number one factor and aiming and pulling the trigger isn't safe.
 


Damn dude hope you don't lose your sight out of that eye. Either way make sure those kids pay.
 
i read this in disbelief that anybody could be that stupid...

hope you get better very soon dude, dont let it stop you from giving everything your all...

stupid **** should go to jail for a couple years
