The Iroc wheels were the first thing I noticed in that pic. I'm willing to bet the rears probably look goofy though. The offset probably has them sticking out past the fenders
when an engine runs cooler, not all the fuel gets burnt off, leading to heavy carbon deposits and poor fuel mileage. the reason for running a lower thermostat is to reduce knock, which is much more prevalent with pulley drops. nothing catastrophic, but nothing gained.
edit: for reference, the ideal temp for an engine to run is between 200-210 give or take a few degrees.
