• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Supercharger

Bank one lean means you have a vacuum leak.

If you used a Garlock gasket...that's the issue.

Where did you buy the gasket from?

^^Already stated I don't...thrice.

Like Matt said these cars are notorius for dry rotting vacuum lines...check them from the Boost Bypass Valve all the way around the Fuel Rail, to the Lower Intake under the Supercharger snout to the bottom of the MAP sensor on the back of the Supercharger...most of the time thats the issue. There is also another set that runs from the Throttle Body to the EVAP canister on the back of the Alternator bracket as well.

Ive already replaced all the vaccum lines that needed to be replaced. I sprayed carb cleaner underneath the snout and got results. I bought a gasket from the dealership yesterday morning but i have yet to put in on. and no the vaccum lines underneath the snout are fine lol. Another question is the MAF sensor. Ive been hearing a ticking noise when i open the hood and the car is running. i put a stethescope to it and its making a ticking growling noise. Im not for sure but is that suppose to be doing that?

If the supercharger has never been off, the LIM gaskets have probably never been replaced.

If thats true.... you're probably eating coolant.

which means its probably getting into the oil and causing the lifters to get louder.
