Does removing the resonator affect my emmision test on 2006 granprix 3800 and replacing it with a straight pipe, does it sound good I have 2 magnaflows as mufflers

Not at all, the cat is responsible of emission. Removing the resonator will give you a deeper tone...with a bit of rasp though...

I took my mufflers and resonator off and put a 26" glasspack, I'm loving the sound :th_jester:

Removing the resonator will make is sound bad, and not affect horsepower whatsoever. The resonator is straight through.

If you still want to remove it, its not going to affect emissions because it is not a catalyst.

The jester means he is joking...because that drones like no ones business.

Nope, mine does drone but barely! It was crazy when it was straight pipe but with the long ass glasspack it just sounds like a rumbling V8...far from the sound of a mustang but still!! :th_nanana:

Mine drones like nobody's business. Sadly I never had the option of keeping mine on, as I got the car without one. ):
