Compressor psi during valve spring replacement

Thankxs guys. My rockers are done and boy was they hard to do mainly the springs. Im never doin g it again unless i get a better spring compressor.

a valve spring tool can be made for $3 worth of steel and 15 minutes of your time. it's a plate with a slot in it, and a hole for the rocker bolt. tighten it down, pull the lock, loosen it up, etc.

it's easy enough. you don't need an expensive tool to do it right.

Hmm. I guess you could make one but I doubt you could in 15 minutes. Getting the spacing right and stuff would take a longer. I know it is possible but to be honest I think it would be more work than you think. If you have a band saw, drill and taps and some steel laying around I guess it is possible.

Edit- I thought you were talking about making the tool I listed above. Yes you could make that bar design but I have used one and getting at the rear springs is a *****. I know it just takes time and can be done but with this tool you can do two springs at a time/one cylinder at a time.

ive got one of those simple ones, worked fine on my 7.6L, i dont see why it would take something overly complicated to do the L67
