From a lot of people here in India who woke up to this news, congratulations. Its about ****ing time.

And if I may, I'm not surprised he was found in Pakistan, but I'm not trying to ruin the mood or anything. Great job and hopefully now we can step up a gear and finish what was started.

and also, kinda fishy that he so happens to die on "obama's orders" so close to campaign time...hmm
 


I could care less at this point...and I think speakin for people who have been there, and fought that war the president makin himself look like an ass clown is the last thing I'm thinkin about. More so on my mind is those I've laid to rest didn't do it for nothing.
 
Its a good victory, will boost morale throughout the Military Community for a couple days at the most. People like me are still getting sent to Iraq with absolutley no purpose, my buddies are still getting blown up in Afghanistan. No big changes to be seen yet... Go special forces though. Monster kill.

honestly, it's cool to have closure, but dude hasn't been in charge of **** for 10 years or so now. the second he was on the FBI most wanted list i bet there were two or three dudes lined up to take his place at any moment. also, im still not sold on it actually being him.

We were talking at work about that, and to throw his body in the sea? You know only military officials were there for that. We were thinking that they still have his body, for just cause. In case it really wasn't him. But, they said it's him through DNA testing and facial recognition. But who knows.

and yeah thats my number one concern. if he is really dead, then somebody somewhere is PISSED the fvck off and they want revenge. i wouldn't be surprised if they tried to fry one of our major cities.
but then again, with beefed up airport security, including the naked body scanner :rolleyes:, and teh advance technology we have, maybe it's not possible. but what do i know? ive just been in countless debates today in class so i thought i'd share.

im with bio, im not sold either. its possible its not him and its just a political move. we will never know for sure, until i see pics. and maybe not even then.
 
for one am glad to hear this news. For way too long us military fought and died for the chance at getting to this guy. He may not be in direct command over is minions but, he was a figure head for their cause. Now he is dead (maybe, let’s hope so). Someone else will replace him. The war on terror will continue. These are facts.

Now that I have left the service I am more cynical when it comes to politics and what Washington feels is right for us. I take everything that comes out of there as half-truths at best. The big picture is how this incident makes the populace feel. I for one feel better and am happier knowing this rat is not breathing and that some of my best friends and family didn’t die for nothing. The point is Americans feel they got a little piece of their lives back.
