Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

for those of you from michigan you'll know the roads, i was on I-275 just south of I-696 and i came across a WS-6 TA so i kick it down to second at a 65 roll and killed him, slowed down at once i hit 100 and he got next to me again so we went again and got him again we slowed down and he was about a length ahead and rev'd it so we went at it a 3rd time giving him that head start and spanked him again. he looked so pissed, and i know he was moded, exhaust for sure and some work under the hood, had gauges up the pillar and it sounded really mean when he hit it, so far i am really impressed with the gxp's performance being bone stock cant wait to see how much better it runs with some mods when i get the$$$

Good kill :th_thumbsup-wink:

It makes sense if you don't think about it.

Well a stock WS6 has what, 330BHP? And you have 303BHP, so it isn't a huge disparity, but I do doubt his car was a modified WS6, for said story to be true. The masses are similar, but even then, I don't know.

2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS Dyno Results Graphs Hosepower - DragTimes.com Stock ls1 dyno

http://wikicars.org/en/Chevrolet_Camaro_1982-2002 quote from WIKI "This would be the first all-aluminum Camaro V8 since the vaunted 1969 ZL-1. Horsepower was rated at 305, which was at last year's SS rating. SSs were now built in-house and their hp started at 320, but various SLP options could bump that figure up even further. The horsepower ratings were heavily underrated by General Motors to protect base model Corvette sales. The LS1 F-bodies were never "de-tuned". Dyno testing of completely stock LS1 F-bodies confirms this, as these cars dyno over 300 rear-wheel horsepower consistently. The RS designation would be dropped (again), but the spoiler and ground effects package that used to be the RS could still be had on the base and Z28s. Black roofs and side mirrors were standard-issue again on the Z28s and SSs, regardless of whether they were T-top or hardtop models."

Your also forgetting to factor in the drivetrain losses are TONS greater on a GXP and the fact they are geared way crappier compared to a LS1 car...soo...300+lbs. heavier...make 50 HP LESS to the wheels (since most GXP dyno around 250 to the wheels stock) tells me teh guys just fibbin.

Numberz brah.

Numberz.

Buddy did you read my post correctly? According to:

http://www.auto123.com/en/pontiac/f...ke=&addmodel=&addyear=&pc11=&pc21=&pc12=&pc22=

there is a 36 KG difference from a GXP to a WS6.

I also said "...even then, I don't know" clearly in reference to his kill.

Read, bro, read. Then comment.

There are a so many variables, anything is possible.

Hey, maybe his GXP is quad turbo with a giant azz intercooler on it and he just forgot to mention it? Either way, WS6 or GXP I would gladly take either one.
