So I got pulled over today...

I'm driving to work, I see a cop going the opposite way. For some reason I knew he looked at me, and I watched him get in the turning lane. Well I figured if he was going to turn around he would, so I just kept driving. I look in my rearview again and I see him stuck behind two cars. So I'm just casually driving, waiting for him to catch up to me. It was clearly for my tint so I wasn't worried about anything. He flicks me and I pull over, he comes to my car asks for my info, where im going, told me my windows looked a little dark, blah blah. Asked me how my driving record was, and I told him 'it's horrible.' He asked why and I told him that I have a speeding problem but I'm 'getting better at it.' He goes to his car, then comes back maybe 2 minutes later..


Cop: 'I'm going to give you a warning this time. By the way... what's with the license plate, 'lol slow'?'
Me: 'my car is super slow haha'
Cop: 'But I thought you told me that you got a lead foot?' while he's kind of laughing.
Me: 'well yeah but it just takes my car a really long time to get up to fast speeds'

The cop almost died, he was like you just made my day. Then he pretty much told me to leave my tint on, it looks good, and to just take a chance in getting pulled over again lol.
 


Hahaha nice, lucky you. Saw a car just like yours but a SS was going to take a picture but forgot lol
 
I got pulled over a few weeks ago for tint. It went like this
cop:Your windows are too dark
Me:yeah
cop:They are 33% legal limit is 70%
Me: ok
cop:follow me
Me:all right
cop:sign here ticket is $131.70
Me: ok

**** your vagina getting out of ticket powers.
 




I got pulled over in my Cobra for tint, turned out the cop was looking for an excuse to b.s. cars w/someone, too bad he was a chevy guy.
 
I was pulled over for tint a couple weeks ago. I got a doctors note from my neurologist a few days later to keep the tint. I took the ticket to the court house but I still have to see the judge for an informal hearing May 3rd. I suffer from vertigo and headaches.
 


I know a couple local cops, they said they usually stop people for dark tint to check and see if they have warrants, or if they act suspicious check for drugs... they is devious and evil but hardly give tickets for tint unless the driver is a dick about it.

Rule #1 90% of the time you can get out a any ticket if you make them laugh. Wrecks and driving like a tard fall into the 10%. A friend smoked the tires in his truck for 2 blocks, left 2 visible black lines down the road, tripled the speed limit (25mph in downtown). He made the cop laugh and he got told to go home, get drunk, get over it, and keep the truck under control next time he has a bad day. No ticket

I've never been pulled over for tint. I've been pulled over at least 7 or 8 times because of loud exhaust though. Are you gonna be at the Iowa meet Becca? I bet I could drive the car like I stole it, and get away with it if we switch seats.
