The guy driving the M5 was honest and knew he had screwed up. He's also willing to learn. I got a laugh out of some of the others they just went a little ballistic.

Been around the block a few times in some nice ones but never the pleasure of driving an M5 so I have no idea what they are capable of, but if they compare to some of the 911s Ive driven, I want one. After I get my own 911 of course :th_jester:
 
I left for the suburbs and was noticing my car definitely felt more powerful---less than a 1/4 tank gas and with M mode and MDM on, traction was kicking in first and second when i really stepped on it. I decided to go dsc off and then engaged s6...on one run i literally thought i left my tranny and rear end in the street from rolling start 1st to second...s6 is really unbelievable...

Sounds like he was about to launch into the future with all those modes he was in.
 
TLSheff: Yes that is actually me. Kinda pretending I still have a BMW for the elites :). I had two. Now I have a daughter and a grand daughter and not all that much money. I still love them and would have an E39 M5 if I was loaded.. I really think my GTP is the best car I've had just below my E39 540i.

Why would I care? I just went to that sight to see the grand prix race. I don't think I'm obligated to any one to remove the BMW from what I have in my garrage. I'm an X and hopefully a future BMW owner.

And slowpoke, I'm having some fun with them. I got on that sight when I had a BMW and was negotiating on an M5. I needed some information on the car I was looking at. Someone on there was nice enough to do a carfax for me and tell me the car i was looking at had an accident serious enough to cause the air bag to deploy. There's some nice guys out there. I got on there this time because i googled grand prix races and found it. I don't visit there anymore. Your 2 cents has been a victim of inflation.

I don't really care why you're there, or when the last time was you went back. I didn't click the link, so I don't know your history on that site. Other then what was posted here, I dont even know what was said in that thread. Inflation? I said "if you're pretending to own a car". If, like if that's the case, if that is what you're doing. I made that comment only because of what you said below.

The car you once had, why you're at that site, when you last posted,... I couldn't care less about all that. My ONLY opinion on the matter was simply that pretending to own something you don't own, just to fit in, is pitiful. If that's not the case, then you have no reason to get butt hurt about it. And if my 2 cents are inflated, it's because you're blowing allot of hot air.
 
Slowpoke. I tried to be nice. Obviously you are an internet bully. What you think really doesn't matter to me. The only place I find people that really think they are elites are driving mustangs. You're right, I'm just mean ol' internet bully. I gave my opinion about something, you couldn't handle it, and that makes me a dick I guess. The thing is, I'm not really a dick, I was just being a pretend dick, for fun.


Seriously though, lighten up. No need to get all defensive and start name calling. Although the "FU" was a pretty classy touch at your attempt to tell me off. I'm not trying to kill your fun, go ahead boss, pretend all you want. And I'll work on keeping my opinions about fake cars and their owners to myself.:th_winking:
 


Ha ha sorry I missed your joke. I thought you were serious razing me for visiting a sight I hadn't been to since I sold my BMW to read about a Grand Prix race. I thought you took the joke I made with TLSheff about pretending for the elites serious too, thought you missed my :). And just for your reference, giving your opinion about something isn't the same as giving your opinion about someone. If I said "I think the wheels you bought don't look good on your car" it's my opinion. If I said "I think you're an idiot for buying those wheels", it's an attack. If you think about it you made the first insult. If you were joking I'm sorry I over reacted, If you weren't I'm justified.
