What tickets have you gotten out of?



we got this cool thing called PBA cards here in new jersey, you get them from a cop who is a friend or family member, ive gotten out of a ton of tickets b/c of them.

this state has 2 different unions for the cops, one in north jersey and the other one is in the south half.

i got stopped for driving a roll off truck on a street that had the no trucks over 10 tons signs, in the south part of the state, i handed the cop the card and hes like wtf is this?
i told him what it was he went to call his supervisor and he was told to either write the ticket it not his choice, i got off thank god.

and lots of small speeding tickets 5 to 10 over that i walked away with a seatbelt ticket instead of speeding because i have a CDL licence and they know i need my lic to be clean for my job, some cops aint to bad, others dont give a crap.
 
almost? i sh!t chickens when i got pulled over doing 65 in a 55 while i was 17. the cop lied and said i was doing 70, which i think woulda been reckless op, and wrote me up for no seatbelt. BS, because that's before i quit wearing my seatbelt. the prosecutor knocked it down to 59 in a 55 and got rid of the seatbelt so all i paid were court costs.

the next one was 45 in a 25, sure didn't look like a 25 to me. but i had no clue where i was, and told him that. he looked at my license and goes "you're really not from around here, where the hell is pleasant hill?" i kinda laughed and said i could tell you exactly where to look and you wouldn't find it. he asked me if i was wearing my seatbelt and i said no, so he gave me a 60 dollar ticket for that and told me how to get where i was going, no biggie.

and then i got pulled over in north hampton for no front license plate.
"where's your front plate at?"
"oh, uh, i think it's in the trunk..."
"why is it there?"
"well i'm trying to sell it, so i put some pictures on craigslist and didn't want my plate in it..."
he bought it lol.
 


careless driving, I drove by the baseball game to check the score in my 88 GMC and a kid from the other town started yelling stuff, shrugged it off. Next time I went by he did it again I stomped the gas flipped a b!t<h in the parking lot and stomped on the brakes and slid to a stop and asked him WTF his problem was, he looked scared out of his mind, stomped the gas again. Three hours later cop goes snooping threw the yard, threatens my mom that hes going to take her to jail, she then tells him to come a little closer because if shes going to jail its because she knocked him out. Requested a jury trial, charges got dropped because it wasnt worth there time
 
I've gotten out of way too many tickets to count. The first one was two weeks after I got my license, I was in my chevy and managed a 3 almost 4 gear roast off right in front of an unmarked ford explorer that the city had just bought. One of my family members is dispatch and apparently that helps.

Have been pulled over something like 12+ times for no license plate lights. 11 times with the truck and once with the GTP got out of all of those with a warning

Pulled over a couple times for 15-20 overs, Im 1-1 on those lol

Last time I was pulled over was five years ago when I was following a friend home doing 115 in a 55. Was gifted witha class b misdemeanor Reckless driving and street racing. Thing is, I wasn't racing just trying to keep up, didn't know where the guy lived and he was hauling a$$ too. I did jail time on that one plus the whole getting your license taken away for nine months, a year probation, community service, and f*cking fines $1200 that sh1t sucked! Not too mention the insurance rate increased ten fold.

I get really anxious now about speeding. Learned my lesson with the last one.

Here I thought getting out of a 77 in 45 ticket was good.... but I did the same, was completely honest and polite.... still have the warning in my visor as a reminder.

Before the above happened, right after getting my pcm installed I decided to see the difference on the freeway. As I'm hitting 95ish and a turn in the freeway under a bridge... I see the reflective markings of what I thought was a security guard, come to find out it was a state trooper (whoops). Slammed on my brakes, so much that my headlights were what got his attention, cause they pointed 5 ft. in front of me. All he did was follow me till I hit an off ramp and at the last second he got back on the freeway.....was ****tin' bricks on that one.
 
The only tickets I got was 2 parking tickets which I got out of, First one the cop put the wrong plate number so I never heard from them again,

Second one cop put the wrong law number so it was invalid, haha
 
I had a 95 Mustang Gt vert auto and I was racing a 96-98 Stang coupe auto on a short four lane street in my town. We stayed neck and neck for a good part and then I started pulling on him. We probably got up to 60 or so in a 35. The city square was coming up in front of us and we both turned right. I was behind him and the lights came on in my rear. I stopped and he came up to the car. The other car went on his way. The officer asked me if I had just raced that car and I said "No". His reply was "Don't lie to me boy! I'm gonna ask you again! Did you race that car?". I said "No" again. I gave him my liscense and registration and my friend that was with me said "Dude, you are going to jail!". I said "No I'm not, watch this." The officer came back and said "Since I couldn't get the other guy you are free to go." And on we went. :th_rockon1:

My buddy said "WHAT THE HELL!?". I told him that if he knew we were racing he would not have asked me. The cop didn't even get me for speeding. All he had was a lot of noise and was sure he would get us in the act. I was not about to admit fault to something that he had no evidence of. :D
 


Well, let me see here. . .

-Popped for 15 over in a 25, ticketed for 5 over. Paid it.
-Popped for 20 over in a 35 (sign was knocked over, I thought the limit was 55), ticketed for 10 over, got it dropped to a 5 over.
-Popped for 20 over and weaving in traffic, ticketed for Careless Driving, No License or Insurance on Person, 10mph over speeding ticket. . . Got all charges dropped, fine was waived for no license (showed my DL at the courthouse), $15 fine for No Insurance (showed proof of ins. at courthouse)

Those all happened in my first 2 years of driving. . . The following are from a 1 month period while I was on leave from the Army in '09:

-Pulled over for no license plate (temp plate in back window, hard to see at night due to window slant), no ticket.
-Pulled over for crossing the center line, no ticket.
-Pulled over for 15 over and "Exhibition Driving" in a 55 zone. No ticket.
-Pulled over for changing lanes w/o signaling and speeding 10 over. No ticket.

I swear, my military ID got me out of all of those. lol

Got pulled over in my Dad's truck the day after he passed away for license plate lights not working, guy was being a dick, hassling me about where I was coming from, where I was going, etc. He asked me, "Does your Dad know you have his truck this late at night?" To which I replied, "No sir, he was pronounced dead at Toledo Hospital at 11:47 yesterday morning." He let me go, apologized, and told me to have a good night. I felt bad for making him feel like a dick, but he deserved it, the way he was talking to me.

I have Army Veteran plates on the GTP now, I attribute my lack of involvement with the police to those. Haven't been pulled over for my driving in over a year (knock on wood)
 
90 in a 65 faillll got out by tellin the judge i was deffinitly speeding but theres no way my saturn went 90 mph. first time got off. but i been pulled over countless times for bumpin got a few 50$tickets. led lights n tint n plate covers.... they just wanna see the inside. one cop once told me 3 cars back he smelt weed comming from my car. **** was bowled like noones buisness. one other time a cop said i pulled into the drive thru and a cloud of smoke went into the store so the manager called police. haha totaled my old prix into someones asz got a 20$ ticket

So, are you saying you make a habit of smoking marijuana while driving?
 
2 weeks after I got my license at 16, drove onto an off ramp, realized it, threw it in reverse, hit a bicycler when I was coming off the off ramp, and a cop saw it all. Then ran a red light when he was pulling me over. Also had 3 ppl in the car and you can't have anyone in the car for 6 months. I explained what happened to him and he let me go. I was so damn lucky.

now that sounds like a story lol

i had a 77 rabbit, and the way the story started off was, "so im driving my rabbit out of the pit" the pit was some back woods 4x4 trails in town and no car has any rights being back there, i had 4 ppl on the floor laugh at the first line. good times man.

lol sounds like a time. well my spontaneous ass wanted to take the scenic route (literally sign said that, or at least i thought it did) and um yeah i coulda swore on everything the road went str8 thru. but it did not. haha. oh well. past is the past. nothing bad came out that situation car was already ass old.
 
Back in my youth.......
Got pulled over in my 1990 olds, excessive acceleration, 55 in a 35, and no proof of insurance. Cop let me go because he was busy with all the accidents that morning, it was snowing. Bad I know.

This one sort of counts.. I got pulled over for a broken tail light, got a "fix-it" ticket. Nothing really. However my passengers, one had a bag on him and a warrant for his arrest, second guy had a warrant, and the third guy had like 4 warrants, IIRC. They never checked their IDs. Did I mention this was in the 'hood? I have no idea how that went so smooth.

no im not saying i go out of my way to burn while i drive as if to sound cool if thats what your implying, it makes the ride better. then again i smoke atleast an eighth a day but this is a ticket thread not a disscusion of me beiing a super pot head hhaha
