Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

ugh, wisconsin...youre stupid...

I think you need to look up what communism means, what it is, and how it gains its power to destroy the lives of the people it convinces to help them. Communism and socialism (communism light) are genuinely evil philosophies that have destroyed every country that's ever tried to implement it.

and you gotta look up what socialism means. what we need is socialistic democracy, focusing on the needs of the people and not the needs of the richest.

are you serious? providing people things on the price of NOTHING is dragging down the rest of the country.

YES take n freedoms away!! i d rather work some sh*t job for 12 bucks n hour plus have to by ins!!!sorry i ll stick with my union brothers n sisters !! or i could just crawl in bed with the coch brothers who bought this election and wisconsin for pennys on the dollar!!soon there will be no middle class and no dispossable income and then we will see how many small business he creates!!!maybe we should try to bring people (work force) up instead of fight among our selves!!IT WHAT THEY(coch brothers and top 1%)WANT!!! ya im a union guy and have gotten SH*T contracts for years nowbut at least i had the chace to bargian for it!!

you can still bargain for wages and benefits. all it's saying is that you now can't go on strike to **** the employer over into getting what you want, aka 'collective bargaining'. please read about what is actually happening instead of being ill informed.

No people need to learn to work and stop being worthless.

i agree with that.

but we need jobs for that. most of the damn industry went either to china or to mexico. ive been looking for a better job for a year now. i cant find anything that would pay me over $10 / hr, and thats only part time. and i cant afford college, im not taking a loan. i cant even get a loan now that my parents went bankrupt.

Kids, let's stop dreaming and look at the big picture... It's very romantic to blame unions for all the financial faults in the country if everyone listening to you talk only cares about blame... Every pitch from the fair tax to socialism is made by pitch men who are only motivated by winning for them and theirs... The only thing you can truly count as a solution to a financial problem is to get more money... No one wants that to happen... So they haggle between telling you to cut things you have been trained to need, and telling you about how you can't live without them...

Would you like to know the simplest way to undo all our problems overnight? It's real easy... Eliminate foreign aid... Know who pays all the bills for the UN? U-DO... Rebuilding infrastructures that were crippled in response to atrocities? Your money at work, but the moment we try to further an interest to justify our efforts we roll over to the world calling us imperialist...

I know everyone deserves my money but me and how dare teachers make enough to afford flea collars and bread, but why the hell is a nauseating amount of our tax money being shoved overseas by the metric ton? The hierarchy of our resources should be done in this priority...
1) The stability and defense of US citizens, and the development and expansion of our infrastructure
2) The strengthening and protection of our allies
3) The furthering of, and security of our overseas interests

The idea that right now there is a veteran starving to death under a bridge, thousands of Japanese rationing water, and over a billion (with a ****ing B!) dollars being distributed to warlords in the pathetic name of political correctness should piss off more people than just me...

You live beyond your means.

you spend money you dont have.

it falsely stimulates the economy.

others see this.

your dollar weakens.

Save your money.

improve your finances.

Invest in your country.

Rejoice in the fact that you helped save america more than voting would.

i want you to show me someone who retires at 40 with full benefits and pension.
My Dad has a cousin that hired in with the County right out of high school at age 18. Retired 20 years later at age 38 with full pension and full benefits. His pension is based on his three best years so the last three years he worked crazy overtime to boost the pension payout.
Second case: I guy I work with has a neighbor who was a cop that retired from a city in southeastern Michigan at age 48. His pension? $124,000! And under current Michigan law his pension is tax free.

but we need jobs for that. most of the damn industry went either to china or to mexico. ive been looking for a better job for a year now. i cant find anything that would pay me over $10 / hr, and thats only part time.
You need to move out of IL. Oh wait, that's not financially possible either.

Substitute "Illinois" for Michigan in the following quote and see why the jobs left:

A state like Michigan can't see its property values fall off a cliff, can't lose nearly a million jobs over the past decade, can't see major companies bolt or reorganize in bankruptcy, can't see federal stimulus bucks disappear and still hope to close gaping holes in its budget. Nor can it perpetuate one of the worst corporate tax rates in the country and expect business to stay, much less flourish.

"This has been coming for several years," (Michigan Governor) Snyder told me in an interview Wednesday, "and now that it's come, people are surprised that it's here."

Michigan is lucky. Our new Governor, like the Governor of Wisconsin, "gets it". He's had the training to know what he's dealing with:
Rick Snyder was born in Battle Creek, Michigan and studied at the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of General Studies with high distinction in 1977, then a MBA from the University of Michigan Business School with distinction in 1979, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 1982. He completed his third degree at the age of 23. Snyder also served as an adjunct assistant professor of accounting at the University of Michigan.

The "leadership" (and I use that term loosely) in Illinois want to continue with business as usual serving only the special interests. That's why Caterpillar is threatening to move operations out of the state.
Move if you can.:)

ill informed?HMMM?from what i hear all they can bargian is wages.and only up to a certian%of the cost of living rate.not pensions.not class size .not hours.not health care.basicly you will take what we give you and like it.or move somewhere else.these people all pay taxes.know what the koch brothers who own a huge paper co. in n e wi.payed in corp tax last year?nada!!they also own a big temp service.you ever work for one of those?not fun.yes people need to pull thier weight and i got no use for people that dont.i feel for people that have been down sized in the name of shareholders(ie us if you have a 401k)profits and ceo s corp greed!!cant get a nine dollar hr job and if they do find something in thier field its for way less money and long long lines.corp greed is whats kill n this great state. not teachers and unions.

It's politically incorrect to say so, but the Epicenter of Entitlement has finally crashed head-on into the reality that entitlements (and exemptions and carve-outs and whatever) cost money, lots of money, and those dollars have to come from somewhere.
In Wisconsin that "somewhere" is the taxpayers. The Unions in Wisconsin will bury the State unless the people stand up and say enough is enough. An example of typical Wisconsin Union behavior?
the Milwaukee teachers union is taking a peculiar stand: fighting to get its taxpayer-funded Viagra back which is a benefit that costs $786,000 per year
Bravo to the Governor for trying to put an end to this crap.

Sport... Everywhere that money comes from taxpayers... Good for unions... Not because of any reason anyone that likes them has, but because conflict and competition make progress... Pay attention... Tax breaks don't make corporations love you... Tax brakes don't exist... The tax is passed along somewhere... The flaw in corporations isn't that they can't afford business here... It's that they can get it cheaper elsewhere... You cheapen it here, they stat a bidding war with whoever overseas... It's called com-pet-it-ion...

You want businesses to spend here to make products? Treat them like the greedy lying whining children they are... Punish them! Don't bend over the middle class fist deep for a dry prostate check by handing them money to underpay workers and ship resources overseas! You want business to bloom here? Tax the hell out of overseas imports and labor...

Not fair? Would you like a list of every country you aren't allowed by law to own property? Look it up... Holy crap do you even know what the term deficit means?? More out than in? Get it? You slap these companies for outsourcing and inferior production... Force them to pay for play, and see what happens... What will they do? Not sell you services and products? I'll take their place... I'm more than happy to have opportunity... But then I am an American...

remember when teachers, public employees, pland parenthood, npr, and pbs crashed the stock market, wiped out half our 401ks,took trillions in tarp money, spilledoil in the gulf, gave themselvesbillions in bonuses, and paid no taxes?yeah, me niether. ?????? comes down to the "GOLDEN RULE" those that have the gold make the rules!!!!think i ll stick with my labor peeps that built this country and not ones that made thier money off of mine, yours and our backs!!just my opinion
