• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: Modification Examination

just because im 16 doesnt mean im going to flip my car upside down 52 times in a ditch and then watch as it burns...and as for the fbody thing...ehh, i like some...but this car seems like it was meant for me...sorry, some people have different tastes in cars

I said 90% chance.

I wrecked my first car, so I'm in the 90%.

Re: Modification Examination

hmm most of the cars that i see wrecked at the body shop... were by a 16ish year old. my favorite was a kid borrowed his dad 66 chevelle with a turbod 502, wanted to impress his gf goes around a corner nails the throttle and sends it into a tree

Re: Modification Examination

Your excuses to spend extra money rather than change your own oil makes you sound incapable of changing your own oil. If you have a jack you're set, that's all you need.

Re: Modification Examination

If you can't change your own oil, youre a knocking retard. There a bolt to take out, theres an oil filter to take out. New oil filter, back teh bolt goes, add 4.5qts of oil, done.

That and a 15mm wrench and street drain :th_laugh-lol3:

(Note*: I do not suggest you drain your oil into the street drains as it is against the law)

Re: Modification Examination

its apparent you have a jack and stands. simple...
1.) jack up the front end and put stands under
2.) unscrew the drain plug and let it drain into a bucket or whatever
3.) carefully unscrew the filter slowly with a bucket under it to catch the oil that is in it that will spill out.
4.) use your finger to spread oil on the new filter seal and screw it back on and only hand tighten it
5.) put the drain plug back in and crawl out from under the car
6.) lower the car back down and fill the ***** up.

done!

if i can do it, anyone can.

Re: Modification Examination

make sure its warm when you change it. run it for about 20 minutes or so. that will help it drain better so you get more of the old out

Re: Modification Examination

face palm...first of all, the kid with the turbod 502...epic facepalm, idiot...i would never punch it going around a corner, ive only been in one accident, in my dads truck cuz i hit loose gravel...

second...huge facepalm to anyone who thinks i have the jack i posted...i got that pic off of google, because i wanted to show matt what my older brother left...he did not leave the jack, just the jack stands...and they are Big-A jack stands, for his 78 jeep truck...atleast 2 feet tall

if i did have a jack my oil would already be changed, i am not a 16 year old city kid who doesnt know how to tie his shoe...i live on a farm in iowa, i am not a redneck either, otherwise id own a huge lifted truck and go mudding every tuesday...just please stop assuming, actually read the wordz that goez with teh post...thanks lol

Re: Modification Examination

not exactly...but i thought that since i said im from iowa and live on a farm, someone would call me a redneck...
