Will the cops bother me for this?

This is not a legal forum, it is however a car forum, so let me fill you in on something... In ALL States ANY vehicle modifications can and most likely will get you pulled over at some point. If you are worried about cops, DON'T MODIFY YOUR VEHICLE. It's that simple.

if they are actually blue youre going to have problems.

however, if youre mistaking LED white as blue, then you have vision problems.

This isnt my headlight, but this is exactly how blue mine is.

your asking for trouble if thats how blue they are. the pigs are going to have a field day with that. swap em out and do white you'll be safe that way.

damn... well im just gonna keep them on until i get pulled over, after i get pulled over ill switch them to white, and put those blue ones inside somewhere. lol

im pretty sure the tickets gonna cost more than new lights lol im sure they look real cool but not worth the bad attention.

Damn cops these days... take anything they can get. So would they ticket me for "impersonating a police officer" or something?

improper lights, the law is you can only have white or yellow in the front of the car, you can light up the inside of your car with what ever you want and drive around, the peterbuilt i used to drive had the red lights in the corners of the windshield, and green marker lights on the roof, 150$ ticket for the marker lights not a word about the red on the inside of the windshield. this was by a county cop in new jersey, it may be less or more where you live.

and my ass of a boss wanted me to pay it, i was like i told you i wanted them off, but you had to put them there, so he paid it, the ticket was written out to the co name anyway.

come to think of it, around here firemen always had lights like strobes in the corners and headlights like a cop car, when they were responding to a call in their private cars, and that all stopped now they all have blue strobes on the dash, and inside rear windows, nothing on the outside of their cars anymore.

even snow plowers had to pull the yellow strobes off the roof of trucks, and put them inside. cop do blow, and i come from a long family of cops and firemen.

It all depends on the cops mood that day. 99% of the time they will just give you a ticket for improper lighting. Would be cheaper to pay the 20-30 bucks to replace them then pay the 120 for a ticket.

yeah ive deffinately been thinking about getting an HID kit, but i am trying to stop buying these for my car, we all know that never works though..

Mn statute 169,99.04 blue lights on the front of a vehicle are illegal if visible if seen within 300ft in daylight or 100ft in inclement weather. Went to court for that one, being a north dakota resident, they wanted to fine me for not having a front license plate./didn't work out that good. My blue lights were halos around my fog lignts. Just make sure u can't see them during daylight...
