Getting To Know the Community - What do you do for a living

I work for Buskirk Engineering and I am the office manager.
I create quotes, answer the phones and work out in the shop from time to time. We manufacture biomass densification pellet mills.
So if anyone wants to buy a pellet mill, look us up :D

now im waiting for someone to post "if i ever need it, will i hear your sexy voice on the phone <3?"

but seriously.

i nail nawars mom for a living. she pays good.

I'm a full-time student studying Photo-Illustration and I work part time at a car wash. It's a good college job but I wish I had a better paying and/or full time job. I used to work full-time at a motorcycle dealership but I was laid off in October of 2010 and went until January 2011 before getting hired at the wash.

i got a friend that worked on loading up freight cars and hooking up and unhooking cars, he said every night the supervisors walk around and do breath test for booze and piss test for drugs, on the spot, refuse and you go home for good.

talk about having to be a good boy all the time,,man!

I couldn't work at a place like that. I have absolutely no criminal record, never done drugs, and I am about the most honest person you'll meet, so I really don't deal well with people treating me like I'm some sort of criminal who can't be trusted.

I'm going to be loading the bike up with resumes and riding down to Ohio to look for work a little farther from home.

its a union thing, more people get killed by rail cars than you want to know, you don't just get a bruise, you lose a leg or arm or hand and sometimes its not a pretty death if you know what i mean......

You make decent money doing that?

Yeah its pretty good. I just got up to 100% pay rate today (they start conductors off at 85% pay rate then every 7 months of service they increase it 5%). I only worked about half as much as I could have last year and made a fair amount, this year should be great though. It's the engineers (the ones that drive the trains) that make all the money though :D

They don't do that for us, but if we get in big enough trouble (bad derail, go onto track without proper permission) then we get a piss test.
