How can i get my tail lights blacked Out???

Wondering how do i get my tails lights blacked out? Do u jus go to a tint shop or is there a spray on kind? And what are Night Shots? Been hearing that word alot on this forum. Also, can u buy halogen bulbs for headlights for a 2001 Grand Prix GT??

You can tint them yourself with tint spray, VHT nightshades is what most use (and is also the term you are hearing rather then night shots). I'm not sure if you can buy them for a GP, but there are also tint films you can buy that are precut to fit the housing. And yes you could just have a shop do it, but thats money waisted when you could do it yourself IMO. I'm not sure if there is a right up here on how to spray tint your tails. If there isn't, myself or somebody else here could put one together real quick, it's a fairly popular modification. I used VHT nightshades on mine, didn't turn out to bad....

im pretty sure the night shots they were talking about were pictures of the cars with tinted tail at night.
 
Good looking out guys! Does Auto Zone or any other auto parts store sell it? And what about the Halogen light bulbs for the head lights? can those be bought at Auto Zone???

i think in the threads he was looking at the people were saying like good job on the tails post some night shots. so they could see what the tail lights looked like in the dark

Also why do you keep asking if you can put halogens in your car? If you have stock lamps you have halogens...
 
Im new to the modification..so excuse me if i offended you..guess i mean, like the blue lights that be on newer model Benz or Bmw's..that are very brite and have a blue tint to them..i thought they were called halogen lites..does that give u more to work with???

Ist off..im on my mobile...2nd...i could have googled it, but i would rather come to the forum i signed up to & ask a bunch of GP owners who have already tackled this situation. 3rd..thanx for the info..but i didnt ask u to post on my thread..since u wanna get all smart & ****..im sure somebody would have would have gave me the answer without ur help.

Well in that case there is also a search bar at the top of the site. You said yourself it's something we've tackled already, so chances are there is information on here already.
 


I used black krylon fusion spray paint and then clearcoat for mine...if you don't want to do VHT... Turned out good
