Stock cars knock...proven. I bet if you had the U-Bend taken out and continue to run 91 in it....it'd probably no longer knock...at all. It isn't hard to kill knock on these cars really the closer to stock they are
 


That's the Canadian models...the US ones like their owners a little better and the air is crappier and less dense and cold.

This is just like the argument I had with my friend's brother (their whole family is big into trucks and mudding Jeeps) about how exhaust systems don't add horsepower (he thinks they do). My point of the matter was that exhaust systems restrict the flow coming from the engine regardless, so you would theoretically make maximum gains by not having an exhaust system at all (straight headers), therefor meaning that exhaust systems do not increase horsepower, they just lessen the stranglehold they have on it.

The main point of this story is, as long as you argue correctly and intelligently, you can win almost any argument. Granted this one is a little more complicated than my example, but you all get the point.
 


U want a 3.6L v6 g6. Those things are low 14's stock. Friend has a slip for his bone stock.

Ran a 14.214 @ 98.18mph.

I was suprised to say the least.
 
3.9 is the torquey pushrod motor...whilst the 3.6 is the VVT DOHC V6...making more power across the board.

I love this argument. That's why I always ask why my manual added HP to my engine? 15% loss of crank to rw HP as opposed to 25% less of crank to rw with auto.

The higher octane gas usually causes a build up in the engine of cars not designed to run them. The slow burning fuel doesn't get completely burnt, which causes carbon deposits to build up. Hence why plugs are usually changed to a colder plug.
