Its a 1999 with 99k miles on the clock.
I just bought the car mid december so I havent had the chance to get nice pictures of it or a proper wash/wax.
Sorry for the dirty pictures, the below 20 degrees and snow in Indiana lately hasn't been the best to keep a white car clean.

I would like to make some exterior mods in time (working on a tight budget at the moment).
Im just not sure what all would look good on a white car as far as inlays and what not.
As of now, the only attention its gotten is a new radio and new headlights.

Any comments and/or criticism is appreciated! :)

Re: 1999 Grand Prix GT

Looks good clean...But Grand Prix's are supposed to be dirty...so the other pics are just fine.

Im partial to white and black/dark gray. Or white and blue, but the blue has to be dark to look right, IMO.

Re: 1999 Grand Prix GT

nice gp. may i suggest a debadge and getting rid of teh pinstripe?

Re: 1999 Grand Prix GT

Nice lookin' GP I like the pin striping you should keep it :) welcome to the forums i see you're from Indiana where about? i live near Fort Wayne.

You should do a nice white on black scheme.. I.E: black projector headlights, tinted tails, black chrome rims maybe but not too big, deep tinted windows (current looks ok),

Re: 1999 Grand Prix GT

Thanks for the advice, keep them coming!

Ive tought about debadge and removing the pin stripe(its pretty rough in some areas).
And I do want to redo the tint so its black and not icky purple looking.

And I am actually located just south of fort wayne about 15 minutes.

Re: 1999 Grand Prix GT

Full debadge with tinted windows...polished exhaust tips of some kind...and clear corner lenses look great on white cars.

Other than that...clean lookin' stocker.

Re: 1999 Grand Prix GT

Just an update on my car:
It is getting debaged and the pin stripe removed, and window vent visors installed when it decides to get warm and stay warm.
Red relfective rear inlays and red "pontiac" on front filler plate.
..and soon hopefully, new tint! im thinking 20% or 15%. I just have to get the icky purple stuff off first ($65 for the shop to do it, but I'm going to try and save a little by at least getting doors and corner windows off myself and let them worry about the back window).

I will update pictures when it gets a little more along in its appearances

any advice is appreciated! :)

Re: 1999 Grand Prix GT

well well well, another white 99 2 door gt i see haha looks good :D you can do the vent visors in the winter. just use a hair dryer or heat gun and keep it about 10 inches away from the trim to warm it up or just wait haha

Re: 1999 Grand Prix GT

Well since I had nothing better to do on a friday night, I took advantage of the decently warm weather and debadged the car. I also removed the nasty pin stripe. It was a lot easier and quicker than I was expecting it to be.
Looks sooooooo much better now!

Re: 1999 Grand Prix GT

car looks nice and probably nicer after the debadging and the ugly pin stripes haha now you need darker tints =x

No worries...tint it next and hopefully soon. Im making myself make a couple extra payments before I get it redone. I'm thinking 20%, maybe 15. and dark as possible for front banner.
Maybe next weekend if its warm, ill get creative and start at removing the purple tint. They are calling for 64 this coming monday and then 33 and snow friday...what the hell mother nature

Im going with a red theme if you haven't noticed.
Weather permiting, I might pull wheels off this weekend and do the calipers and clean the rims while I'm at it.
