New Alarm!?!?!

Ok so I have been looking at getting an alarm for my new GP since my last car got broken into and I want to start putting a system in this one. I was looking at DEI's new stuff mainly Viper and Python. I went to a local shop that is an authorized dealer and they carry Python and said I could get a Python 991 installed out the door for $500. Anyone have one of these on their cars and have some feedback good or bad. Also, how is that for price?
 


Google has vendors selling them for $200-280. Considering that the catch with DEI stuff is it usually has to be installed..that's reasonable.

I installed a Viper 5902 into my car myself. Cost $220

Yea I looked around and saw some of those I was just nervous about installing it myself and by the time I got the bypass for the key, the module, and a window break sensor $500 didn't seem too bad and now it comes with warranty both from DEI and the shop.
