So I noticed a drop or two of oil on my garage floor today , so I checked my levels all about the same not sweet smelling or anything so I backed car out cleaned engine department and went for a drive it stuttered a lil bit but seemed fine it kinda smells like oil but no burnng or anything I. Just worried I bought this car yesterday no issues on my drive home it was an hour drive got on it a little bit no issues any ideas from the higher ups herr

Its gonna be hard to give you advice if you can't tell where the oil is coming from. If you can, check where its dripping from, then let us know.

Well it looks like it's around the steering rack but it's not steering fluid, alson on the front of the engine it has the normal grease on it from being a 97

How long younthink I can drive like this I'm a granny haha imdont exactly think I can dish a ton of money out

bought it yesterday, you see an issue..

Easiest way to ID and fix an oil leak issue.
Clean the engine and drive. Then look/feel for leaks each morning or evening (just don't burn your hands).
By cleaning it, you can differentiate which leak is new and which was just residual dirt from years of not being clean.

So I had a couple days go buy with two smalls drops of oil on my garage floor but can't see exactly or find were there coming from

Please reread my message earlier about cleaning and inspecting. We can't really work miracles from many miles away. You are going to have to be our eyes and hands. With you taking pics and telling us what you see, then we can help by suggesting the usual leak areas and help you through the fixes.

If ya don't do that stuff, then we'll be forced to joke around and be jerks because there's nothing else we can do w/o you helping fix the issue.

These cars leak oil from the factory. I wouldn't necessarily be too concerned about that depending on where it's coming from. As mentioned earlier, get some degreaser and clean it all off and you should be able to easily spot where the leak is coming from. Oil pan leaks are common and that would be my first guess.

The studder is most likely ignition/ fuel related but again, typically not a big deal. Could be either bad plugs, old wires, a dirty MAF or any other number of sensors not reading properly. Generally the first place to look is the plugs and wires. Your average owner doesn't generally see these as something that needs replacing and so a LOT of cars are running around on their original wires... Scary. :-)
