• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Which PCM?????

I will say this. I have a ZZP PCM, and no offense to them, but if I had it to do over and did not have my Power Tuner I would have went with an Overkill PCM.

LOL Thirded?

not laughing at you...just at the comments so no offense if there was any...Duane-I think you are about to get a lot more usefull info ...so use it!!

imho get a tuner...you cant go wrong.

I havent looked back yet

Too bad I can't post links to the "other forums"...
I know where there's a PowrTuner for $280 with all cables, software, DHP forum access
only thing missing is the KeySpan

They're definitely a lot cheaper these days. I picked mine up for $200 (minus keyspan).

I bought a cheapie one from Best Buy when I got mine....and it's worked flawlessly for me. I didn't have time to wait for a keyspan.

what tuner do you recomend?

do you have any other cars that you would like to tune. Like as in one without a 3800. If so I would go with the HPT because it can tune way more cars. The PT can only tune 3800 powered cars but costs quite a bit less.

Well i dont think many people have owned both ..so may be hard to say...i think hpt would be a better choice..I have hpt though...but then again maybe not if the others are that cheap now

This is just my opinion.....

I have the PT, and I love it. It gets the job done, and since I only mess with the 3800 it's worked just fine with me. Now, that said if I had it to do over I would probably still have gone with the PT. HPT is a really great setup, but the credits thing sucks....on the good side, you still have great support, and an extremely wide range of vehichles.

I'll probably end up getting HPT in the future for my vehichles so that I can tune them a little better....plus I'll be able to tweak the G6 a little.
