What is the top speed you have been at? Not a guess or a maybe, but actually known........

Just wondering since everyone says that after 80 the GTPs are done. It surprises me a bit since my 3.8 M90 does a lot more than that in 3rd and I have two gears left. That is with 2.73s though and a 5spd.

120 though in both the gt and the gtp.. Maybe it's a good thing the limiter is there.
 


I trapped 110 in the 1/4 mile last year. Hoping to break the sound barrier in the standing mile this year.

I did that run on an absolutely deserted I-4.

Tranny has never given me fits, prior, during, or after. It was a 1 time thing, just wanted to see what it had.
I dont beat on the car. No burnouts, no hard launches, no speeds over 80-85.

I agree, dont do stupid **** on the road. Or if you do, be as safe about it as possible.
 
I hit like 20 mph prolly on my haro going down a big hill in the new devolpment behind my house last summer.

I got to the bottom and was like DAYUM I gotz to stop really quick like, so I mashed the brake with my right hand and made a 30 foot long skid mark on the ground.

his 04 naturally aspirated was limited at 108. after 04 the gt's were supercharged and governed at 127 or 128. you're car is fine, at least in this case.

as for me, 107. governed, stock tune. we'll see what it does when the s2x build gets done 8 million years from now

fastest i've been in a car was 129, buddy had a speed protege. that was a fun time
 
120 in my GP. I stopped cause I got scared that shifting into 4th at WOT would ruin my tranny. Also, it was around midnight w/ little to no traffic

My 04 is N/A also, notice I said GT not GTP
