Cranks a little too long but stil starts?

So when I go to turn on my GP it cranks for like 6-8 seconds then it starts, we just replaced the fuel filter and it has a brand new battery, all plugs and wires are brand new and everything completely tuned up, anybody have any thoughts? :th_scratchhead:

could be....OP try starting it but prime it 3 or 4 times first and see if it starts easier.

118K and its a 1998 I do turn it to the on position and prime it for 5-6 seconds then crank it and starts faster but you can still tell it takes a little bit

Starter or lim gasket, coolant and gas dont mix lol

mine was doin the exact same thing. It was a clogged fuel injector
