If I were you I'd paint that very outer rim on the brakes. It'll rust in about a week. I had to go back and paint them because I did the same thing you did

on the painting the edge. I picked up R1 Concepts eline series which are supposedly centric's. 8 months and not a bit of rust on the outter edges. I'm impressed.

rotors..it should help. Or buy a very high quality rotor and it'll have a coating on it.

I bought GM rotors and they have a gray coating on them
