• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

what next?

Taz Hit Paul back up and talk to him bout Ricks white GT he should know what ur talking bout. he did split ratio rockers on ricks car and now it runs pretty good for a n/a lol

n/a cams still work well with a top swap, but it just doesnt make the best of it. any cam besides stock will work better than stock.

O_o

Where did this thread go...lol.

It depends on the lift of the GT1...which I didn't really look at...and running a higher ratio might make it to where it lifts higher than .600...which at that point Taz would need to have the guides milled. Along with that...then he would need pretty strong valvesprings...you can't just toss on some high ratio rockers and except the car to perform...I installed 1.84 Rollers and it hardly made a difference.

So...get headers...start there.

If your looking for more at this point a top swap can be had for well less than a grand but you WILL need headers.

Just kickin' thoughts around. If I was to build a GT...it would be a high compression, GT2 cam/rockers alummy head build with nitrous and a built trans on a high stall and 3.69's...

No i meant this setup lol.I think this would be close to 13's,maybe 13.7ish.OP's setup maybe high 14's with good tires and good launch.

NOS...is for ricers.

And if your doing heads...ER Rockers with ported heads will work but then you'd NEED headers to maximize that effort.

So, back to my other post...BUY HEADERS.

And off a bottle...with cam and headers...I'd say low 14's. 13's are pretty rare IMO on a stock trans.
