coolant change and now 4 dtc's

vailskier3

just call me john-o
did my coolant change today, and when i started her up with the new green prestone coolant, i threw these codes. any ideas why?

[PCM] P0116 - Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Performance (Old) (Immature)
[PCM] P0134 - HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 1 Sensor 1 (SES) (Pending) (History) (Immature)
[PCM] P0520 - Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Malfunction (History) (Immature)
[PCM] P2432 - Secondary Air Injection System Air Flow/Pressure Sensor Circuit Low (Pending) (Old) (History) (Current) (Immature)

The reason I ask is because with coolant, oil and airflow issues, its possible that a head gasket could be bad. Hopefully someone has an alternate solution.

Another question, did you make sure there was no air in the system?

I highly doubt changing your coolant would cause all those sensors to go bad. Did you get water on anything or anywhere, accidentally pull a wire out or forget to hook something back up?

well, i probably did get some air in there...idk, the secondary air one could be due to my headers???? maybe???

Hi,
I am the tech manager at Prestone and a mechanic as well. I doubt any of these are related to changing your coolant. If you tell me the year of your car and send your email address to me at [email protected], I will look up and email you troubleshooting instructions for each code.

Being that you changed coolant.. check the grounds on the front of the transmission. Also check your fuses.

This shouldn't be a head gasket, especially since they are the least common gasket to ever go on these motor.s
