so are stock colbalt ss's pretty quick then? cause this punk in town has one and i would love to walk all over him in the gtp....may have to get the bike lol
Well of course with as many mods as you have listed, i would keep up with alot more cars than i have been. im talkin about i've put only lik $300 performance wise in my car. And that only because my intake from K&N was about $220. My tune, u-bend delete, and resonator delete only took about $80 tops from my wallet. on another note another car that has surprised me is the new turbocharged mazda3....im the only car amongst all my friends with diesels that i cruise and race with some its the driver mod but others that know how to drive i can keep up with them pretty good ill post some vids of me and diesels on here soon
Actually supercharged are pretty similar performance wise to a stock gtp. once modified you'll have no preoblem beating them. Turbocharged though is another story. i get smoked constantly by stock turbo ss's!!!
Not many GP's run 14.4 stock. Overall I would say SS/SC's are def faster stock vs stock with a GTP.
For one they dyno higher that us.
you must race the kids that have stock skittles and think they are fast lol i raced a 02 4.6 mustang a couple nights ago and beat him by a car. raced a slowbalt a week after i got my skittle and he didnt have a chance. im only running 12 psi, spike 14.So im only running light mods...for now, on my 2001 GTP. Yet i've beat on more than one occasion srt-4's, g-35's, 350zs, mustang gts (pre 05') etc. but i get smoked by diesel trucks, cobalt ss's, and modified mazdas. WTF!!!
Only bad thing about the SS/TC is that you can't really "slam" the gears...it only likes to be easily changed...its funky. Like you can in a 1G DSM...slamming 2nd turns the wipers on LOL
