Re: how to paint your engine cover, fuse box, plastics []

Just an FYI, I emailed Krylon, and they told me about their sister site.

Engine Enamel & High Heat

Thank you for your inquiry. Actually, I would recommend a product by our sister company, Dupli-Color. They offer their Engine Enamels and their High Heat products and both have been tested for such applications and have a large variety of colors available. You can read more about those products at this link to their website: Engine Enamel & High Heat

If you have any additional questions, please ask.

Thank you,
Jared

How did you get the black letters? Are they decals? If so, where did you get them. Here is a pic of mine.

How do you powercoat something, or is that something you have to take them and have it done?

Ya you have to send it to a shop. Unless you have the oven and equipment. Either way its not easy.

Re: how to paint your engine cover, fuse box, plastics []

Ok, negative on the Oven and Equip, so what is so hard about painting it yourself?

Goto either grandprixstore.com or reflectiveconcepts.com and get the engine cover overlay set. Reflective concepts is cheaper if I'm not mistaken, and I just ordered a set for my GTP. LOTS of color/reflective combinations to choose from.
