I am being accused of not telling the truth in a prior thread that I have posted in.

Somehow, I guess I was lying about ZZP in a prior thread and Zoomer has called me out for the liar I am.

I respect ZZP for how knowledgeable they are in dealing with the 3800 platform. These guys have untouchable records and some amazing products. I have personally ordered a lot of things from zzp and for the most part, my customer experience has been good.

But once you become to big to treat your customers (at least one like myself) like people rather than idiots that are of inferior knowlege to the almighty zzp, customers are going to turn away. Your job as a representative of a company is to address your customer's concerns and resolve problems. If you cannot handle talking to customers civilly, and you happen to leave a bad taste in their mouths, sooner or later someone is going to express their disapproval.

As a professional, it is detrimental and ultimately idiotic to address what you believe may be a fault of the customer. Every one is entitled to their opinion regardless of magnitude or extremity. Instead of calling me a liar, please do what you should be doing as a representative and put that effort toward fixing your broken customer service system.

I am not going to try to take any business (besides my own) away from ZZP. I believe that learning by experience is the most effective way to decide who you will and will not patronize. So I encourage all who are loyalists of this company not to act based on my personal opinion.

Turbo tim recently sent me an email apologizing for the way the email was written, and clarifying that he didn't mean to sound rude. I respect Tim for doing this and I even e-mailed him back to thank him for the clarification, and continue with the appointment. Unfortunately, I logged into GPF today and saw that I was being called a Liar for a 100% completely truthful exposure of a mistake zzp has made.

I am apologizing to zoom and zzp, because I am just a good guy. Too bad I am now a liar.

Why? Because zoom says so. That's the mentality right? This is the same mentality reflected in this company's customer service that will continue to push people who refuse to deal with this buffoonery away. That is all for now.

Show us your emails.

Both ways.

Otherwise this thread is all hearsay.

"This is an e mail from Zzperformance. It is intended for the recipient only and may contain confidential and privileged information. No one else can read, print, store, copy, forward or act in reliance on it or its attachments..."

I'd rather not get sued. As much as I would love to layout e mails.

Welcome to the 21st century.... were people are pathetic and there is no such thing as honor and respect. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Wait...what.

I'm sorry...but your complaining that they are calling you a liar but then when we ask to see the emails your not going to show us?

That's like denying your face on TV after they straight up caught you robbing the local bank...cmon man.

Orange, I believe that it would be okay to show the emails. The wording on there is to alert a person that may have received the email in error. When you receive that email it is yours and is not a binding contract. Post away.

I'm not sure if you have dealt with zzp Via e-mail, but there is a disclaimer attatched to every e-mail. I am currently studying business Law, and to make a long story short, It asn't a great Idea to put yourself in a position to be sued by a company you are ranting about on a website targeting thier key customer base. Yes the probability is highly unlikely, but the fellas over there may just be waiting for the oportunity to nail my a$$.

However, here are emails I sent

<QUOTE>

Hi I would like to set an appointment for February 21, as early in the day as possible. I am looking for an aggressive e85 setup and I would like to know the average (out the door price) for this type of tune. This way I will be prepared.
Mods are vs cam, 42 currently or 60# injectors (whichever is needed) headers, no cat, 3.3 & 3.1 pulley, Cai, all other basic support. Upgraded trans.
I would also like to know what pulley size to order to maximize gains. And very curious as to how much power I can hope to make.

Thanks, Chris

Tim then responded with helpful info about e-85 and how the percentage of ethenol changes through the year.
He also said in so many words, that I cannot drive my car there on pump gas and tune it on e-85.

Me... (not knowing If my car would even run on straight e85 to get to zzp) responded

<QUOTE>

"So my car will run right now on straight e85 so I can get there to get the tune? As long as I change the injectors?
Or are you telling me to run it there on low gas and then put in e85 for the tune?..."

The reply I got was "did you read my e-mail" And then a quote portion of the same e-mail I obviously did not understand.

I don't think the bank analogy is very accurate seeing that I would have to get caught doing something wrong first before denying hard proof. Fair?

I think you know what I was getting at though. I have dealt with ZZP many times...and I for one do NOT care for their customer service. Turbo Tim I believe it was is who I talked to on the phone back in '07 when I bought their PCM for my car...I had 4 or 5 of them...I can't even remember now...all of them were stuck in programming mode...nothing was changed...ever. They refused to refund me until I told them I was going to get the Missouri Attorney General involved. I felt wronged by them...so I took action. I was 18...and didn't save the e-mails...I wish I would have. I would have posted them in here just so you have something to compare them to. Although...I don't have a recording of the phone conversation but I was basically called an idiot and was told I didn't know how to install a PCM correctly. I recommened plenty of their products to people and I've never had an issue with their shipping...only thing I've ever had issues with was the PCM dilemma and the fact I ordered one of their shift kits when I got my cam install kit...and it was just tossed in the box wrapped in some masking tape. Sorry for everything that has happened on your end FWIW...feel free to PM me the jist of the e-mails if you'd like.

And u study law? Nothing there says you might get sued if you do publish this. Nothing there WARNS you of the consequences. You can publish this ***** all day long.

Orange...nothing in there really says anything about them calling you a liar...if I missed something please point it out to me though and I'll be the first to eat my words.
