• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I took my throttle body off and then after cleaning it and putting it back on I was gonna bleed the cooling system. Well I completely forgot that I still had the drive by wire thing still unplugged when i started the car. Everything went nuts and then as it was happening i remembered so after the car running like for 4 secs i shut it off and then plugged it back up. I restarted the car and the CEL was on lol. Just my luck. No biggie I just took it to autozone and cleared the codes. Light is still off and all is good LOL. Hope my stupidy you would call it didn't cause anything worse. I mainly forgot because the is the first vehicle i have owned without a throttle cable... but oh well. :th_laugh-lol2:

Ah we al have done something like you did. I once forgot to plug in the rear injector connectors. Car still ran lol.

my best one was doing rear valve cover gasket... i put alternator back on and didnt plug the harness back up.. i have an LE cluster and teh lights are harder to see, so i didnt see the battery light on after i "finished" my VC job... drove to work and half way back and car crapped out on me.

I had the ICM half plugged in when I did my rockers back in '07. The car ran great till you hammered it and the movement in the engine bay knocked it loose...a couple times actually killing the car totally. Ended up paying for a tow home and almost killed myself the next morning when I found it.

Mine was putting the TPS in wrong......had the tab the wrong way....

turns out it makes the car idle at about 3500rpms..

took ages to figure it out....then it was this little tiny thing....
