Just wondering what these are worth, i just got done making them a few days ago, my set are already on my car, i painted mine aluminum, these have 1 coating of primer, they will need to be painted, maybe a slight wet sand if you care.

they have a few imperfections but not bad at all.

my buddy was supposed to be getting these but he bailed on our trade and now im stuck with the many hours of work i put into these damn things...... :th_depressed:

Well....I'd say $50 shipped, as they are...cause its a PITA doing all that work. And a little more if you paint/clear them.

But thats just me...
Since other valve covers can run way up there...

The valve covers are only worth what someone will pay. And valve covers go for cheap around here. ;)
 


Yeah txslow6, I would have no problem dropping $50 for a set like that, done right.

If I weren't in the middle of getting parts to rebuild my motor, I would go ahead and grab them.

50 bones? i'll pass thanks anyways, looks like im keeping them.

valve covers that look like these go for over 200, i would think these would be better then 1/4 the price.
 


The Valve covers that go for over 200 Z are actual Aluminum ones...and are polished...not just body filler factory plastic ones. Now I am not bashing this on the fact you didn't put a bunch of time into them...I'm just saying they aren't worth probably more than 50 bones plus shipping...or 50 shipped. I sold a set of totally cleaned and de-greased VC's off my '03 that looked like they just came from a GM box for 35 shipped that I had a few hours into them with just cleaning...
 
Exactly...you put 25 bucks of supplies and some hours into valve covers that can be had at a local junkyard for what...5 or 10 bucks? So your still making double what you put into them.

Just saying.
