Leds that beat with the subs

You can go and waste money on the Pilot Underglow light things that set off to like a snap of your fingers, or you can do what I did.

All you need is a little know-how of electronics. (dad being an electromechanical engineer I learned this easily)

You first need to calculate the max volts at hard pound to your sub from amplifier, I have 1k rms amp, so it is approx. 23-24v per channel (2ch).

Knowing this, you choose how many LED's you want, plug into an equation, and find out what size resistor you need, put a few in series (most likely) and then hook it all up to a channel from your amp, the more of a pound from amp to sub, the stronger the light will be.

yea i guess i would be, if my amp could handle it, its just a little 500w and 250RMS idk it that'll work because its so small and weak

That would work. LED's only need about 2V each for them to power. Go look in the how-to's I created and posted it.
