Yeah, that maybe a little far. I guess I'm just used to it. I traveled about 5 hours to pick up my old fbody. Traveled 10 hours for my old mustang gt, and 4 hours for my cobra. All to save a buck, well worth it though to me, I owe less then 11k on the Cobra now, but I could sale it for close to twice that now.

Please don't crucify me for this, it's only a suggestion. Have you considered a 96-98 Cobra? Teksid block, on par with LS1 performance, always a manual trans, easier to find with lower miles around the 5k price range. Just a suggestion, I'm in no way trying to imply it's better then an LS car.
 
you wont be crucified lol..theyre good running cars but i dont want a mustang....just not my thing....theyre cool nice cars but id rather have an fbody
oh ya what is a teksid block? kind of a mustang noob
