turbo s2k's are no joke. forged internals from the factory. Do you know what size turbo?

I know someone with a 35r setup on his s2k, he was pushing 500+

Not sure, but I pulled over and talked to the guy and exchanged numbers and stuff. I can find out for you.
 
ehh nothing to be impressed by. 12 second cars are all over now adays.

now had he actually pulled hard from you sure thing.
but i've seen those cars move far better.
 


12 sec cars, 10 sec cars... whatever this is why drag racing in general is becoming less appealling for me. too much competition, too much pressure. whatever happened to gettin in your car and taking the scenic route just for the joy of being one with your car? at least you dont have to have a 1000hp to enjoy that... sorry just my .02

I agree 100%. I love to just go cruising around in my gp. I also enjoy a good race. Rather its your fast car, cute chick, big d1ck, nice house, or whatever, its still ok to make what you have even better.

I personally don't want a high 11second gtp. It was just cool for me to run this guy and see what he had. I personally had more fun talking with him about car stuff than I did racing b/c I'm mature enough to know you can't win em all. And every now and then you will run into a guy with a hotter chick, faster car, bigger crib, whatever. He gave me my props because he's never had any grand prix even come near his car. That's good enough for me.

oh i agree. its just people get so religious over being the fastest or having a preference in a car that it just makes the whole scene totally not fun. there always has to be a dick, someone to totally kill the mood. thats why i chose the gp. its cheap and easy and its fast enough to make my day. i could care less if i have 500hp. i prefer to keep to myself when it comes to racing or performance driving or race with close friends. id rather not go look for groups of cars to go make friends.
 
^^ im with you guys there. and btw daytona every satuday and sunday i take the 45 minute, cruising, bending, winding, river side, doing 50 in a 45, drive to work instead of the 15 minute highway express. and i would do it more often but i only work that job on the weekends. scenic drive ftw

that s2k looked like fun though, its always great when you have a race end in a nice conversation and general respect from both parties.
