• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Alright so not too long ago I had some warranty work done on my car (tstat). So driving down the road yesterday my car stalls and I couldnt get it to fire again. Im fearing the worst the car was 200 miles out of warranty.. So I pop the trunk (im still on the side of a busy road) and wouldnt you know while working on my car they didnt tighten my intake down properly and it had just slipped off my car MAF and all...:th_shakinghead2:. I was just thinking to myself... hmmm well they are never touching that thing ever ever again... I then proceeded to take it to my friends dad shop to make sure no damage was done to it.. I have half a mind to go slap those fools

Haha umm this is what I get for posting before Ive had my coffee and am rushing before a meeting. touche man

I assumed it was to get some tools. Yeah..that's what you should have said. Never let'm get ya before the coffee kicks in. :th_thumbsup-wink:

You mean your air intake or your actual intake manifold? Cuz why the hell would they take off the intake to replace the tstat? Well I have seen dealerships do dumber things.

Yeah Im not exactly sure why they did it... All I know is everything was super loose and the whole air intake (granted its custom) fell right off. All I had to do was tighten it down and it stays on just fine

Dude. You must have the most epic cold air intake ever. SO far from the engine bay.
He's got one of these:
