What color to paint?

I have a 98 GTP, I'm repainting it this spring and i cant decide what to do with it. I am keeping it mainly black, but i was thinking about doing a set of blue stripes on the hood and trunk deck, or doing a two tone: upper blue and the lower black, with a silver stripe following the body line? any suggestions help

If your going to two tone the car, the only decent looking two tone car's I've seen are the F1 Grand Prix's. Google it and you'll find the website or at least some photo's. I'm to lazy to post photo's. Blue and black IMO will look like death, but to each their own. As long as your happy with the car that's all that matters.

I'm thinking about getting a new paint job for my 99 grand prix. Nothing fancy but my favorite color is blue so maybe a navy blue for me lol....

can you post the site? i cant find anything

Get navy blue with orange flakes in it or whatever. Then add subtle orange accents (inlays and calipers) and a nice set of silver 19's, lowered.

im keeping the majority of the car black, i love the way the black reflects, but i have some blue from a previous car that i never got around to painting, the color is called Long Beach Blue, i dont want the car extremely wild, but i dont want a plain black car. i am definantly painting the silver on the bottom of the front/rear bumper blue

Dude....Flat black...
It's tits awesome...

Mine was black....
until a month or so ago....

Now its Tan, and flat black...and I ****ing love it...

I think black and blue would look good, but do more of a ghost blue...that kinda fades in/out with some flake it in...nothing boring, but nothing too loud

there are a couple things wrong with flat black:

a) attracts dust like a magnet
b) super, super easy to get dirty, even worse than gloss black
c) unless the whole car is done right, it will look like crap

If you paint the fascias blue, it will look awful. Any actual COLOR looks awful on the fascias.

Do a dark blue on the fascias. Be original. I doubt it will look bad. Make sure you have blue accents around on the car.

Rims with a dark blue lip and black spokes. Anything can look good if accented correctly.

You can do a completely black car including the fascias and do a a brighter color blue for inlays for it too pop. Colored lip, black rims again would look sweet.

Slight silver accents with more blue accents on a black car would look good.

The thing is, I always suggest things like this, but nobody ever comes back doing what I suggested lol I think it would look awesome.

SUNBURST ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or orange fusion. I tried orange, but I chose the wrong color. Turned out copper. Please do orange and do it right
