Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Err mah gerd it's gonna run again. My Gold GTP

Tofu Delivery Boy
Here's my 1998 GTP.

Bought it in June of 2009 and it's been quite a transformation. Had around 130k on the body and about 60k on the motor when I bought it. It has roughly 145k on the body and 75k on the motor now.

Here it is a week or so before I bought it.

A month or two later I tinted and put on projectors along with some badge overlay action.

I then decided it was time for some new wheels. Got some wheels locally from a friend for a steal. 18" Zinik Risso wheels

Wheel gap was killing me as seen in the photo above so I had to lower it. SSC springs made it perfect.

And finally I had to get rid of the rusty rear hubs so I went ahead with the 12" front upgrade and put drilled and slotted all around with black calipers. These are my current pictures of how it looks right now in the driveway.

My future plans are to get the lower fascias painted black, along with getting my SD airdam painted and molded in. Then getting my GPO's black to match the valances. Gotta say I hated the gold color when I bought it but it is sexy to me now!

Re: My Gold GTP

X2 wheels look great I thought they were 19's or 20's for a second! I almost got a 2dr gold gp. Nice looking car; a nice Gen1 spoiler would look great on there.

Re: My Gold GTP

I love the way your GP turned out. I'm going for a similar look myself on both of my GP's. What is the color code for your GP? Mine is the 220C, which is the light sandrift metallic and looks similar.

Re: My Gold GTP

Updating for the winter build. The motor started knocking around early November and has been sitting all winter. Since then I've accumulated some parts and here's what's up.

The plan is an n/a bottom end topswapped with my current top end. I bought a complete gasket set for everything from RockAuto. Also just purchased ARP headstuds and comp rocker bolts. Then i managed to strike a deal on a brand new VS cam along with 90lb springs. Also with some advising from the local motor master himself Nick, I bought a new timing chain and tensioner as well. More parts will slowly roll in but I'm not too concerned with going all out. The bottom end will remain pretty much stock besides a good going through and cleaning.

So all in all it'll be topswapped, vs cam, and all the rest of my mods below. Should make for a nice build.
