99 Se vs 2000 gt 5.0L mustang

I have a 99 GP se sedan 3.1L and my friend has a 2000 mustang 5.0L we were just cruising and he pulls up next to me and honks his horn to get my attention. Here I'm like ya right like I'm goin to win. So I honked back to tell him it's on, he honks 3 times we take off and I stayed up with him the whole time until my gay ass gov kicked In at 108. I call that a win haha my sedan kept up with his mustang lol and this is before my custom tune, when all I had was an air intake lol. I'm sure now I'll get a good car length now.
 




Probably wasn't racing...'00 GT is a poo poo 2V 4.6 mod motor...and even then it is at least 2 seconds faster in the 1/4 than your 3.1...and makes twice the horsepower with about the same weight...you do the math.

And Josh...next time you make a post...I'll ban you...FOR POSTINGG

Well the guy he bought it from wrecked it he prolly put the wrong engine in. Cuz I also have a friend that has a 95 cougar with a 5.0 and that I keep up with so the guy prolly put one of those in haha. I'm going to look at that car again to see what's up cuz this race shouldn't have been that close.
 
I beat a V6 '99 5-Spd Mustang with a CAI and Custom Exhaust in my Cobalt...which was auto...and bone stock.

My Cobalt runs 16.0.

What does that tell you?
 


Well he bought it from a guy who wrecked it. He probably thought it would be cool to put a 5.0 in it and put the wrong year engine in. Like a 95 mustang 5.0 instead of a 00
