HIR bulbs?

a buddy of mine was talking about how he got some HIR bulbs from a John Deere dealership for his civic, anyone know anything about them?

They are quiet a bit brighter than halogens..I had Silverstar Ultras, and put those 9011 bulbs in, and there was a big difference.

Good for high beams IMO.

They dont.

It's apples and oranges, HID's are on a whole other level. I've got HID fogs and lowbeams, and they are blinding.

also, ask how expensive the bulbs were. you can get a full HID kit for less than $80.

Also HIR bulbs are not available in a 9007 size.

I have seen a guy that had them on a regal on club gp and the light output looked good. There was also another guy on gpona that put them on his 04+ grand prix with good thins to say about them.
