So Ive heard that the newer G6 gtps have 329 gears in them which seems to be what alot of people are going with. Question is does this tranny fit the 97-03 gps or are they different?
 


G6 ain't cuttin' it boss...Different.

Your looking at anything with a 4T65E non-HD.

'97-'02 GTP transmission is the same...'03's are not interchangeable. You also don't want the GT transmission from '97 because it is a 4T60E...and its junk.

if you want 3.29s dont get a gtp tranny they have a 2.93 gear..you need one out of a gt. Or you can put the 3.29 gears in a HD differential:th_thumbsup-wink:
