Anyone know if you can stick GTO rims on a Grand Prix? I am pretty sure they have the same bolt pattern. Didn't know what they would look like on the car....
wow, what a coincidence. i was wondering the EXACT same thing. There's a set of GTO chrome rims for sale sitting at the dealership, and when i asked if they would fit i was told that not only are the bolt patterns different, but there's something else about an Australian (Holden) wheel not fitting on an American GM car, i forget what it was but i know it wont work. Great idea tho,
It may "work", but it isn't right. Mustang has a 5x114.3 bolt pattern while we have a 5x115. Close, but not the same. People sheer studs by using wheels with that pattern.
The endlessly debated topic. Yes do so at your own risk. Hundreds of members have without issue, some have. I've had them for 10 years of hard use without a single problem. Multiple sets and multiple GPs as well. Good luck on whatever you choose.
I'm not gettin ginto this argument but I will add 1 thing. The Mustang and the GP have the same exact hub bore size so the wheel rests on the hub and doesn't rely on the studs for centering or supporting the wheel, just holding it on.
