• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

New idea.

Brightening up your day.
Well I've kind of been thinking about a new project.

I was thinking it would be kind of cool to take out my GXP turn signal housings and replacing them with the P6 projectors. I still need to get off my ass and go measure the diameter of the housings to see if this will even work to begin with.

Here's a few problems I have thought of thus far.

1. I would wire my turn signals into my high beams as Drunkie did, but I have no idea how to do so.

2. Where I would get power for them. I'm thinking I would get HID's and buy a relay harness and wire them directly to the battery.

What do you guys think? Would they be more trouble then they are worth?

I was just thinking it would be cool to run dual projector foglights and soon enough, projector headlights. Not the ****ty eBay ones, retrofit obviously

Here's a picture of the turn signals for those unaware of where on the car they are located.

And heres the projectors. I would probably break them down a little more if need be.

You have projector fogs?

I dont see a projector lens...

I'd do it.

P6's fit the 97-03's pretty well and they have a 4" opening.

do it. for wiring, since they are just projectors and NOT HIDs just wire them like normal how your current fogs are now. if you did HID fogs on the other hand using those projector housings, wire the transformers into the original fog harnesses and then you should be all good

Yep the little lens on either side of the license plate in the lower grill of the picture I posted. Those are projector fog lights.

And yeah Joel I'm kind of thinking about it. It would look pretty bad ass...lol.

Just gotta get off my ass and measure the diameter. Might be a possible good project for winter break.
