anyone got the bolt pattern and torque spec for the trans pan on a 4t60 trans? i wanna change the trans fluid and filter.

I tried that with my LIM and broke a bolt off in the head.

Go figure... grade 8 bolts will break with 17 ft lbs of torque...

Lemme check "the book"...

156 in-lbs

uh oh. don't torque them down, i guarantee you strip your threads, they're aluminum, then you will really leak trans fluid all over the driveway. for tightening just do a star sequence like you do for your wheels with improvising.

156 inch lbs for the trans pan? so 13ft/lbs... and actually your better off torqueing them... your less likely to strip the threads..... oh and reason the lim bolts broke is im guessing you didnt use new bolts did you? their torque to yield bolts you gotta replace them after you tighten them down if you dont they will break. same with cylinder head bolts.

The torque spec is NOT TTY...

Yeah, 156, use a small torque wrench if you must. Big one wouldn't accurate at that low setting (if it even has that setting)
