• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Just bought a 2000se today 119,000 miles clean as you can get.The only thing I noticed was a slight clicking sound from the right side when I hit a bumb.I'm thinking strut or cv....also any advice on what could be expected from this year would be gratefully appericated.

change the coolant (just because dex cool in this engines sludge up)

it might be your wheel bearing

and make sure your LIM gasket isnt leaking

Thanx for the welcome and I'm pretty sure it's not a bearing, drove it to work last night for the first time and some skeletons fell out of the closet...;) kinda explains why I got it cheap.I will say though the car has near perfect paint and the interior is flawless and I absoluty love the body lines,so that being said, after 50 miles of soft driving or 5 miles of semi-hard driving a gear on gear sound like a buzzing sound starts it goes away after 5min. of sitting and not running. I talked to a transmission place today and he said something about a force gear(not forth...force)I'm taking it in to get it checked for free so updates will come. Does anyone have any info. on the track option that it came with?

Ok, here is the update, got new tires and found out it's not struts. Clanking noise coming from the driver side is hub assembly, that I plan on doing myself(hint ..hint..:) Tranny problem has went away for now with lucas trasmission additive and I know it is a temporary fix. The outer tie rod ends need replaced, the rotors are the OE parts and need replaced soon and last off the sway bar is broken..so that being said the parts are pretty cheap for what I'm used too,and seem to be not too difficult to install so the only other question I have for now is, every once in awile I get a small odor of fuel when I come off the highway any idea's?
