Was it "drive like a dumba$$ day in South Dakota"?

We certainly have our fair share of stupid drivers in Massachusetts too....This old woman in a Volvo station wagon was halfway out into the intersection at a red light, when it turns green she pins it and flies off down the road. Next intersection she goes to take a right at but decides to totally blow the red light, oncoming traffic almost wrecks her but somehow she got through. At the next red light, she does her thing where she stops in the middle of the intersection and nobody can really get through (at this point I have no idea what to think, I just couldn't help but laugh.) Light turns green, she cuts me off in my lane. As we approach the next red light we are in a lane that can only go straight, YET SHE GOES LEFT and cut off a van, guy beeped at her and she throws up her hands because of course she hasn't done anything wrong and its everybody else's fault....where's a cop when you need them

I lived in Rapid City SD from 02-08.....and I know what you mean about dumbass SD drivers, I noticed more then a few. The biggest idiot was a kid that worked for papa johns, out on a deliverey, I saw him racing some ricer down the main drag (8th street) in his alero. He almost hit a minivan going what looked like at least 85, speed limit was 35 I think.

I heard from a freind a few weeks later, that some kid backed into, and ran over some, lady with a shopping cart at walmart and was being sued....

You have to figure that with a state population of somewhere around 600,000, traffic is not part of the dialy grind, unless you live in Souix Falls I guess. When Sturgis come around the number of people in the state nearly doubles. It's fun to go to the rally, but if you live in the area...the rally blows ass, kids with their workers permit lose their mind.

IMO though, the worst drivers by far can be found in Atlanta. Keep your blood presure in check if you choose to venture on the roads of the ATL.

I can see the interstate from where I live...sturgis time is kind of annoying.....bikes constantly going by day and night. I remember this year i was down at the local spot and theres a hotel nearby.....i bet there was over 100 bikes sitting there.

Yeah a ton of people come into the state for Sturgis. Pheasant season is probably worse because it is alot longer. Tons of out of state idiots with way too much money. But, both Sturgis and Pheasant hunting bring in a ton of money.

I can't imagine how it is in Mitchell during pheasant season with cabelas lol

Don't even get me started on those bikers during the rally and the drivers from Papa John's they are both idiots, I about hit the girl in the late body white Grand Am one day and that would have been a sad day cuz she is hot as hell. And that idiot in the greenish blue Toyota Tercel thats been there since they opened I was driving home on I-90 going about 68-70 and he flew past me like I was standing still, I didn't even know those things went that fast.

I think that guy with the Alero still works there. It was white right? Mount Rushmore Rd and Omaha are the best lights to make the ricers cry.

yeah it was white i believe. crazy if he still works there, that was like 3 years ago when i lived at bridgewood estates. are you at the base? it crazy to me to see soemone with good ol box elder as their location. i was stationed at ellsworth while i was in sd. my wife's family lives in box elder. we are actually driving up there to visit for a few days here in couple weeks.

I stopped by there once on the friday before opening day. It was a mess. There were people putting 3-4 cases of $150 shells like it was nothing. I never plan on stopping there again around the opening of pheasant season.

Driving through Atlanta.. I would describe it as fun, seriously. I came through at about 5:45-6:00am, so there wasn't a ton of traffic. At first I was cruising 5-10mph over the speed limit coming into town, and them as I got deeper, people got crazier/faster.. And I'm not one to get ran over so I stepped it up, doing around 85-90mph through Atlanta, including around 55mph turns, getting to weave through as many as six lanes, it was quite fun.

gee wilikers batman!:th_sick1: please tell me you took the scenic route. that must have been some roadtrip

Ahh I must say it was quite the roadtrip, almost feel I should make a thread or something.
I took a route that was scenic enough, at very least. Came through Canada in Montana, south to Denver, east to about st Louis, and then southeast/south

Malibus Most Wanted?
Is that where it's the white guy that acts all ganster.

I remember a specific part when theyre cruzing down the freeway and he goes "traffic traffic, all up in my chapstick, there's a ford maverick"...at least i think that's how it goes. Anyway...it's that movie.

I don't live on base I live on Country Rd just south of the airstrip. Don't have to worry bout no fing jets landing on me here. I used to live just off S Ellsworth rd and had an engine land 15 feet behind my house.
