So I decided to take a trip to Milan Dragway for a little test and tune. I ran with the 3.3 pulley and a pathetic pair of all seasons that I prayed would not blow during a pass. Track prep was a little crappy as told to me by some of the guys who go there regularly, so obviously traction was an issue.

I decided not to pulley down since I could barely hook up anyway, but I did manage a 13.2 with only 5 passes. My first pass was a 15.1 :th_angry2: (spun like hell) then I ran a 14.0 then a 13.6- A 13.2 and a 13.8. Very inconsistent, but maybe I will see 12's next time with some better tires.

Mods were : 3.3 MPS, Comp VS cam, 90# valve springs, TEP Trans with 3.29's, 4 inch intake w/ K&N, Poly front mounts, SSAC headers, 180tstat, 103's

That's the trick...root that F8cker in front of ya. I pulled 1.8 and 1.9 60's on stock Bridgestones that way to pull out 13's on 1.84 Rockers, PEM's, 3" DP, Intake...blahblahblah
 
i dont wanna run at the track yet, i got cracked summer tires with 18inch rims LOL.
not to mention i dont want my tranny to go booom.
guess il have to wait a while :(
I wanna know what i run in the 1/4 mile.
but i still wanna do a VS cam (most likely) and headers (SD ones probably)

The Vs cam is the perfect cam for someone who is not planning to mod beyond Streetability. Yeah the XP and s1x cams are monsters on the highway, but the VS cam has the same potential in the 1/4 mile. Go for it!

Hell yeah! That's exactly what I was doing. I saw as bad as 2.2-2.3 60's until I started to find where the rubber spots were.

Thanks bro. I ain't racing you until I get an intercooler on this thing! Or maybe when I e85 it. but you'd smoke me hands down right now (even if I ran DR's) I've seen those vids. Your car has Chuck Norris nuts (especially for no cam)
