Anti-Lock Bbraking is coming on all the time!

OK so as the title states every time i brake going less then 10mph the anti lock brakes come on even in dry situations when its not necessary. Along with the brake pedal being restricted from behind the car also is making a groaning noise to accompany it. I think this wound is the standard noise it makes when the ABS kicks in but not sure now since i hear it ever day and don't remember it when the ABS was working fine. When this problem happens the ABS light on the light panel by the speedometer and in the center above the stereo does NOT com on? Did any one ever experience this problem? I did just have an issue with the wheel bearing hubs and got them replace which correct my other problem with all my brake and traction lights being on. Im not sure if this new issue is related to replacing the wheel bearing hubs or its just a coincidence that this new problem is happening right after.

There is a clip for the wheel speed sensor where it snaps into the wiring harness. It snaps onto a bracket behind the disc and rotor.
Mine came off the bracket a couple of times after doing some work.
Every tiny bump and turn set off the ABS like crazy.

Any vibration or bouncing of the wire is enough to make the sensor think it is spinning waaay faster than the other wheel. Might also be a dirty connection. Spray some contact cleaner maybe?

Thanks ill give it a try, i just had the wheel bearing assembly replaced which included new plug in sensors so i was thinking that was not the case but it looks like at this point i have to go back to the shop so its worth a try. Thanks. Could it be possible that the ABS computer is going or needs to be reset?

Had the same prob., had both front bearings replaced. Still was doing it. Turns out it was the wiring coming to the bearings. Check the connectors and inspect the wires like Rust says. good luck

Can i access the wires without taking off the wheels and bearings? I have a lift but don't want to take apart the whole assembly

I got same issues...had a right bad front bearing, replaced it, lights still come on ( ABS and T/C )...went first started up, brakes make a groan noise as well... lights come on randomly, anywhere from 1/2miles to 3miles...although I've caught my left harness unplugged 3x's now!!! everytime I snap it back in, it fits fine and snaps right into place, next time I jack it up, I'm wire-tieing that mother together.

nofronts, you can acess the clip that snaps into the sensor from the wiring without taking the wheels off, but the wire assembly itself??? not sure...

I zip tied the clips to the bracket also. You can sort of get at wires and clip without taking off the wheel but it will be way easier if you do.

I'm about to pull the wheels off for some new brake pads anyways. While I'm in there, I'll check the connection to see if maybe thats why the light comes on. Anyone have a pic or a decent diagram so I know what I'm looking for beforehand?
